Problem in paradise?

It has been a few months since I have been occupying a different bed and sleeping away from my daughter and wife. The main concern is snoring over which I do not have any control. However, after several nights of discomfort and objections, I had to take a dramatic step -- choosing a different bed.

At first, I was enjoying a large bed all alone. Trust me, it was good and spacious and I was sleeping well. However, there is a major issue with this. My daughter started to dislike me, especially during the morning. Since I was not beside her, she felt alienated. Children have black-and-white minds and they can easily sense the absence of their parents. Anyway, I had to work hard to make it go away through pampering, playtime and much more! However, the same thing did not happen with the other adult. It feels like we are enjoying each other's absence, which is a scary/dangerous thought!
